The #1 tip I have for getting
ready for your session is to
dress up.
I’m not saying put on a formal gown or a tux. I’m saying treat your photo shoot like an event! You should look like you’ve put thought and effort into your look, because you’ll be looking at these photos for awhile! And before you panic, I’m not saying you can’t be casual. You can be! Further down, I’ll go into how to elevate a casual look to make it more deliberate and styled. But by thinking of your photo session as an event, you’ll feel great, and your confidence will show up on camera.
